Our stance with regard to the CORVID-19
Dear Current and Potential Patients,
From the last few days Coronavirus is on everyone’s mind and will be for the coming days and weeks. It changed our perspective on life, our habits, our routines, and our ways of interacting with others. We would like to let you know that here at Beyond Physical Therapy, we deeply care and are concerned about this difficult and hopefully temporary situation. As much as we sympathize with decisions made by our nation’s government and recommendations of CDC to restrict contact within the population, we are planning to stay open and serve our patients as long as we will be able to.
Management of Beyond Physical Therapy wants to assure you that our staff is in good health and is taking every precaution possible to stay this way. The equipment and facility are being disinfected routinely to avoid the spread of germs and viruses. Just remember that simple washing of hands with soap for 20 seconds is a very effective way of stopping contagious agents from spreading. To avoid the transfer of potential causes of illness, do not touch your mouth, nose or eyes with your hands, as those are the most common ways of introducing the viruses into your system.
We understand your decision of staying home when you do not feel well or are trying to minimize exposure of your weak immune system to potential danger lurking among crowds. If you have symptoms of illness, we expect you to stay away and respectfully inform our office of your absence. However, there is no need to cancel all your activities (including therapy appointments) if you are in good condition.
Nowadays, we all need to be especially mindful of each other, help each other, and not spark unnecessary anxiety and fear with respect to our current situation. Let’s hope we all can do our part in overcoming this time of trial.
Stay healthy!
Our regards,
Andrew Cieslik & Tomasz Grass, owners of BPT
